How much fat does interval training burn?

I’ve heard that interval training is the new best workout. Can anyone help me out in terms of what kind of routine I should be doing for intervals to help burn fat?

Interval training (especially high intensity interval training) can burn nearly 300 calories or more per session in usually half the time if would take to do that at a steady state. Usually HIIT workouts are around 15 to 20 minutes - but they are extremely intense.
