I have to do my workouts in the morning because of timing. Should I eat first or afterwards?

Working out in the morning is a fantastic way to jump-start your metabolism for the day. It can help you feel energized and will help prepare you for the remainder of your day. Ideally, you want to exercise on an empty stomach because it isn’t very fun to get cramps in the middle of a workout. If you need to eat something, have half of a protein shake with only 125ml of fluid (water/juice/milk) and then a full serving afterward. This will provide you with much needed energy to sustain you through the workout without the heavy feeling that is associated with eating.
