I'm a skinny person but I have love handles, what do I do?

The new term is coined “skinny fat” and means a person who is relatively thin, measuring under 31” at the waist but is soft all over. “Skinny fat” people often don’t eat clean and may or may not work out regularly. Luckily, for people who have this problem, it is simply six to eight weeks of clean eating and three times weekly exercising.

The single most important fact is that a calorie deficit must be made through diet as well as through exercise. The main point is that someone who isn’t eating well, who isn’t watching their sugar and fat intake, and isn’t attempting to exercise, is not going to get rid of excess fat. Some people have quick metabolisms and are able to have fantastic bodies without lifting a finger, but inevitably, age will take this gift away too.

A quick way to burn tons of calories in the shortest amount of time is HIIT, or high intensity interval training. HIIT can be done in as little as 20 minutes and can burn upwards of 300 calories throughout the day. Performing HIIT once or twice a week will help combat love handles and extra body fat.
