Its time you changed your body!

Change your body for the better.

You’ve probably been thinking it for years – you need to get in shape, you want to get in shape, but you just simply don’t have the drive to do it for yourself. You need a push, an inspiration, to help you change your body for the better. Here are a few tips to help inspire you to get on the fast track to a healthy life.

1.) Take a walk outside and become accustomed to nature again. Often, when you are “trapped” indoors for extended periods of time, you can begin to feel caged. Humans, as a species, are meant to be free and outdoors. Walking outside may make you feel like a different person, helping you burn calories and increase your metabolism while increasing your feel good hormones. Stimulating blood circulation throughout the body and the brain can make you feel fresh and hopefully, leaves you wanting more. Even a quick 15 minute walk will provide you all the good feelings of a longer one hour walk.

2.) Change your diet to reflect your new found sense of peace. Try to match your activity levels with appropriate food choices. It is very true that certain foods can make you feel lazy and lethargic such as processed foods and sweets, so avoid them at any cost. Start by increasing your intake of fatty fish such as salmon, berries, brightly colored vegetables and complex carbohydrates such as whole grains. Be sure to be meticulous in your portion control as this is a hugely contributing factor in laziness and tiredness.

3.) Watch or read inspirational messages from celebrities, or people in a similar field as you who have similar goals. There is something to be said about looking to another person for inspiration based upon their personal experiences. Find a role model somewhere in your circle of influence who can be your mentor and help provide a source of inspiration when you need it the most.

Keeping yourself inspire requires regular reflection upon who you are and who you want to be. Strive for positive change and don’t settle for less.
