Muscular Endurance

Definition

The ability of a particular muscle to produce force or perform a repeated action over and over without fatigue. The most idyllic way to train for muscle endurance is to perform high numbers of repetitions (15 – 25) with lighter weights. The purpose of doing this is to allow the muscle to become accustomed to performing the same movements such as what is required with many sports such as swimming.
