How to Make Lime and Ginger Salmon


  • 1 tsp finely grated lime rind
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tsp grapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely minced (optional)
  • 2 (6 ounce) salmon steaks or filets


  1. In a glass container, whisk together the rind, lime juice, oil, ginger, and jalapeno pepper. Save half of the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon steaks or filets skin up in the marinade. Leave for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat and coat lightly with cooking spray. Cook salmon, about 3 to 4 minutes, on each side.
  4. Remove from heat and top with 1 tsp of reserved marinade spooned on top.
